Confederate Bikes

April 7, 2008

The Confederate Motor Company is focused on celebrating the art of rebellion through their creation of avant-garde motorcycles that represent rugged individualism. Identifying ones brand with the “rebellion” of the Confederate seems slightly hiding-under-a-white-sheet-holding-a-burning-torch’ish to me but these are the quite simply the dopest bikes I’ve ever seen.

At the center of their identity is the ancient biblical character of David, as he represents the companies mission statement of individualism, or in the story of David and Goliath, an individual’s rebellion against tyranny.

Despite the loss of their original factory due to Hurricane Katrina in 2005, the company’s faith and persistence remained. They are now located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Check out the four creations of the company:

Your labels are backwards. The first one is the Renovatio, the second the Wraith, and the last two the Hellcats.
